Making a Difference Together
Collaborating in multi-stakeholder initiatives like TRIEC's Mentoring Partnership Program is among the ways TD shows its commitment to active corporate citizenship. Here, TD's Beth Grudzinski, VP, Corporate Diversity, speaks at a TRIEC event.

We take tremendous pride in our commitment to corporate responsibility. This comes from a long tradition of understanding the importance of how our business vitality is closely connected to the health of society, including the well-being of our employees, customers, shareholders and communities.

2007 Performance Highlights
  • Enhanced our corporate responsibility reporting through increased application of the Global Reporting Initiative's Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.
  • Broadened coverage in this report to provide highlights of programs and practices for our operations outside Canada.
  • Launched a new corporate responsibility website on td.com to enable stakeholders to learn more about TD's commitments, practices and initiatives in this area.
  • Strengthened our leadership in corporate governance by further improving Board and committee processes in order to spend more time on strategy and to maximize the effectiveness in the way the Board functions.
