We work hard to create a respectful, inclusive environment.

By being actively involved with the communities we serve, we help create a respect for diversity. To that end, TD Bank Financial Group works with a number of groups, including visible minority women's groups such as the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association, and Women Immigrant Lifeline.

At the same time, we work with a number of community organizations to celebrate excellence and achievement. Events in which we participate include the Harry Jerome Awards and Youth Scholarship Fund, the Harmony Awards Banquet and Urban Alliance on Race Relations Dinners.

Our employees also actively promote an inclusive workplace. For instance, some of our employees take part in Heritage Day celebrations as well as various cross-cultural awareness workshops, which provide participants with tools for dialogue and knowledge of our similarities and differences.
