Personal Performance & Development (PP&D) is the process we use to manage individual performance and support employee development. It's an integral part of our performance and development culture.
As an employee, you are expected to take an active role in the PP&D process and work with your people manager to:
- Understand the accountabilities of your job
- Recognize how your efforts impact and contribute to the achievement of team, business and organization goals
- Set meaningful personal performance and development objectives
Your people manager is there to support you throughout the process - helping you to meet or exceed performance expectations, to build the knowledge, skills and experiences you need to be successful in your current role and achieve your longer term career objectives. How does your manager support you? By providing:
- Knowledge of the PP&D process and the tools and resources available
- Clarity around accountabilities, objectives and performance expectations
- A "clear line of sight" between your contributions and the success of the organization as a whole
- Regular and balanced performance / development feedback - formal and informal
- Access to on-the-job experiences and opportunities
TD is committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and respected.
