I notice that there is a promotion right now that people opening a Select Service account will receive a Samsung tab. I have been a customer of TD for close to 50 years, but have never received anything for customer loyalty. I have never moved from TD to another bank when they have promotions on. Don't you think it would be good customer relations to offer loyalty appreciation in concrete terms, such as a Samsung tab, or other io tems? It would be nice to feel appreciated for longterm loyalty to a company, which is making money from my deposits and credit card purchases.

I agree with Jennine. A draw just doesn't cut it. The probability of you actually winning is next to zero. It sure doesn't pay to be a loyal customer. RBC ....here I come.

They told me that at my branch too....bla..bla..I could win one. Wow, they give them away to new to bank customers. I think I will go over to the royal and get there free mini pad. And open account. Unless you can work your magic for us. Thanks, kelly

I agree 100 % especially since in their latest commercial they really seem to go all out for some of their customers.

Yeah, after I wrote this and TD gave me their reply, I replied to them that giving their existing customers a chance to win was in no way comparable. That reply did not get posted, and I didn't receive a further reply from them. I notice that TD is now advertising in some American magazines, with their giveaway prominently posted, and their emphasis on customer service. They don't mention that they treat their existing customers (I've been a customer there for almost 50 years now) like they don't matter.

Worse I am a TD customer for more than ten years, seeing the commercial I have switched my account to an all inclusive account but learned later that I will not have the tablet because am not a new customer, thank you this is how TD treats his loyal customer, maybe it is time to say good bye...
