1 The Refer-a-Friend Offer (the "Offer") is for use by existing TD Customers ("Existing Customer") to refer a friend (“Potential Customer”) to TD to open a new eligible† TD Credit Card ("Eligible Credit Card") online. If the Potential Customer opens an Eligible Credit Card online between November 18, 2021 and May 29, 2022 (the "Offer Period"), the Existing Customer will receive a $100 gift card (the "Gift Card"). Maximum of three (3) successful referrals (up to a maximum of $300 in Gift Cards) per Existing Customer during the Offer Period. The Offer may be changed, extended or withdrawn at any time without notice. If the Potential Customer opens their account in a branch or by phone, the Existing Customer will not be eligible for the Offer.
† An Eligible Credit Card means a TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Card, TD® Aeroplan® Visa Platinum* Card, TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card, TD Cash Back Visa Infinite* Card, TD First Class Travel® Visa Infinite* Card or TD Platinum Travel Visa* Card.
For a referral to be successful, the following conditions must all be met:
(a) Existing Customer:
- Must be a Canadian resident that is the age of majority in their province or territory.
- Cannot be a TD staff member.
- Must successfully create your system generated unique referral link by visiting the Refer-a-Friend page.
- Must only share your system generated unique referral link with individuals with whom you have an existing personal relationship.
- Must disclose to the Potential Customer that you will receive a $100 Gift Card if the Potential Customer opens an Eligible TD Credit Card online using the unique referral link and the Potential Customer meets all of the conditions of the Offer for the Potential Customer.
- Existing Customers must provide a valid email address to receive their Gift Card.
- You cannot share or advertise your system generated unique referral link on Social Platforms such as but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google.
(b) Potential Customer:
- Must be approved for an Eligible Credit Card within the Offer Period
- Cannot already have an Eligible Credit Card
- Cannot have had an Eligible Credit Card that was closed on or after November 18, 2021
- Cannot be a TD staff member
- Must open an Eligible Credit Card online by May 29, 2022 by using the unique referral link shared by the Existing Customer
- Must be the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside at the time of account opening
The Gift Card will be electronically issued and emailed to the Existing Customer from UGO Mobile Solutions (a division of The Toronto-Dominion Bank), provided all conditions have been met. TD is not responsible if a Gift Card is not honoured for any reason, including if the third-party merchant issuing the Gift Card becomes insolvent or bankrupt. We reserve the right to limit the number of accounts opened by and the number Gift Cards awarded to any one person. The Existing Customer's account must be open, active and in good standing at the time the Gift Card is issued. Please allow 12-14 weeks after the conditions have been met for fulfillment of the Gift Card.
The Toronto-Dominion Bank and its affiliates are not responsible for the e-Gift card provided or any of the services or products offered by the issuer of that e-Gift card.
