My name is Dr. Chris Maza.
I’m the President and Chief Executive Officer for ORNGE.
ORNGE is about the freedom to live, work, play wherever you should choose to do so in the Province of Ontario
without being afraid that your health will be compromised
because you are not in proximity to a large hospital or place of healthcare.
Around 2008 we developed our relationship with TD.
It was immediately following the financial crisis.
They came in and supported this program despite tremendous uncertainty in the marketplace.
The integrity of the senior leadership led to us being able to trust and have faith that they would be there.
The budget is everything, soup to nuts.
It’s the aircraft; it’s capital payments on the aircraft or servicing the bond.
It’s the fuel in the aircraft; it’s salaries and wages for the front line
right into the accountants making sure that the bills get paid on a timely and efficient basis.
Transport medicine, air transport medicine is a capital-intensive business
and it requires a trusted capital partner.
