TD Bank Announces Participation in the EVERFI Financial Literacy Bee
Improving financial literacy has been a hallmark of TD's approach to being the better bank for many years. That's why we continuously improve our education tools. The latest update to our TD Bank Learning Center includes enhanced and expanded content and a mobile-optimized site, so users can it on all internet-enabled devices, anytime, anywhere.
The platform makes it easy to quickly reference information about financial topics or explore in-depth education courses on topics ranging from Owning a Home to Estate Planning. The modules are easy-to-follow and interactive, so users can navigate at their own pace and stay engaged with the content. The retirement planning course even offers a calculator to help users determine a sample savings goal – bringing the answer to the above question within reach.
TD Bank has partnered with EVERFI, an education technology company, to deliver the content through an intuitive platform. By registering for an account, you can track your progress on each module.
"TD recognizes the value of offering easily accessible financial education tools to help customers and colleagues achieve personal goals and financial stability," said Michael Innis-Thompson. "This is one of the important ways the Bank is fulfilling its mission and lifting up the communities it serves."

With this in mind, TD Bank is proud to announce that we are sponsoring the EVERFI Financial Literacy Bee, nationwide financial capability challenge for high school students. This year’s virtual challenge will take place over the next two weeks, and we want YOU to participate! The Financial Literacy Bee provides an opportunity for students to have some fun and learn critical financial concepts during Financial Literacy Month!
The short, interactive lessons teach students how to save, set financial goals, budget, and invest. After completing the lessons, students submit a short capstone essay in which they share a short-term, medium-term, or long-term savings goal and outline how they plan to achieve the goal. Three winners of the Financial Literacy Bee will receive up to $10,000 in college scholarships.
How It Works
Students can participate in just 3 easy steps:
- Visit the EVERFI Financial Literacy Bee website
- Complete the lessons (10 minutes each)
- Submit a short essay sharing a savings goal of yours and how you plan to achieve it! Submission deadline is April 15th.
