The latest issue of Corporate Knights Magazine named TD to its eighth annual "Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada" list.

Each company that Corporate Knights assesses is classified by sector, each of which has a set of specific Key Performance Indicators. In the Financials sector, Corporate Knights examines:

• Proportion of sustainable assets under management
• Liability management
• Sustainable governance / public policy influence
• Aboriginal banking or support

TD made huge strides this year and ranked 22nd overall - the best of all major banks and up an incredible 78 positions from the 2008 survey.
