At TD, we believe education can open doors and contribute to the long-term well-being of individuals, families and communities. That’s why we work to increase access to Early Learning as part of our commitment to Financial Security.

We aim to help bridge the graduation gap between students from different socio-economic backgrounds. Our goal is to improve financial confidence in the communities we serve.

How we support Early Learning
Supporting girls in science, technology, engineering and math

TD contributed $1 million over three years to help Actua engage 150,000 girls in STEM fields through digital skill and confidence-building programming.
TD Summer Reading Club provides online reading fun for kids

As Canada's biggest bilingual summer reading club, this online program helps kids ages 1 - 12 to explore reading in the safety and comfort of their homes
Bridging the Gap through Indigenous Summer Literacy Camps

TD helps support Frontier College which works with First Nation, Métis, and Inuit communities to offer early literacy opportunities for Indigenous youth.

Our commitment in action

The TD Summer Reading Club helps bridge the learning gap for kids who don't read all summer.
Over 33,000 Indigenous youths participated in summer literacy camps supported by TD since 2013.
Over 2,000 public libraries in Canada host the TD Summer Reading Club.
Through TVOkids Book Tour, TD helped deliver over 1,000 TD Grade One giveaway books in Ontario in 2018.
