TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended December 31, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 115,100. This is consistent with November 2004, and is 5% lower than December 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$206.6 billion as of December 31, 2004, 2% higher than November 2004 and a 20% increase from December 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 33,000. This is 15% higher than November 2004 and is 6% higher than December 2003.
  • Margin loans at the end of December 31,2004 were US$5.08 billion, up 2% from a month earlier and a 10% increase from December 31, 2003.
  • For the first several days of January, the firm experienced a 1% increase in trades per day from the previous month's average.

November 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended November 30, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 115,000. This is 20% higher than October 2004, and is 4% lower than November 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$201.9 billion as of November 30, 2004, 6% higher than October 2004 and a 21% increase from November 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 28,800. This is 21% higher than October 2004 and is 11% higher than November 2003.
  • Margin loans at the end of November 30,2004 were US$4.99 billion, up 4% from a month earlier and a 12% increase from November 30, 2003.
  • For the first several days of December, the firm experienced a 9% increase in trades per day from the previous month's average.

October 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended October 31, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 96,000. This is 19% higher than September 2004, and is 17% lower than October 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$189.9 billion as of October 31, 2004, 4% higher than September 2004 and an 17% increase from October 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 24,000. This is 13% higher than September 2004 and is 7% lower than October 2003.
  • Margin loans at the end of October 31,2004 were US$4.8 billion, up 3% from a month earlier and a 16% increase from October 31, 2003.
  • For the first several days of November, the firm experienced a 15% increase in trades per day from the previous month's average.

September 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended September 30, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 80,782. This is 10% higher than August 2004, and is 33% lower than September 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$183.5 billion as of September 30, 2004, 3.1% higher than August 2004 and an 18.0% increase from September 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 21,037. This is 5% lower than August 2004 and is 21% lower than September 2003.
  • Margin loans at the end of September 30,2004 were US$4.7 billion, up 6% from a month earlier and a 16% increase from September 30, 2003.
  • For the first several days of October, the firm experienced a 24% increase in trades per day from the previous month's average.

August 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended August 31, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 73,000. This is 14% lower than July 2004, and is 22% lower than August 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$178.1 billion as of August 31, 2004, 0.4% higher than July 2004 and a 16% increase from August 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 22,000. This is 0.4% higher than July 2004 and is 4% higher than August 2003.
  • Margin loans at the end of August 31,2004 were US$4.43 billion, down 4% from a month earlier and a 21% increase from August 31, 2003.
  • For the first several days of September, trades per day remain virtually unchanged from the previous month's average.

July 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended July 31, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 85,000. This is 1% higher than June 2004, and is 20% lower than July 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$177.4 billion as of July 31, 2004, 2% lower than June 2004 and a 20% increase from July 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 22,000. This is 9% lower than June 2004 and is 11% lower than July 2003.
  • Margin loans at the end of July 31, 2004 were US$4.64 billion, down 0.1% from a month earlier and a 29% increase from July 31, 2003.
  • For the first several days of August, the firm experienced a 5% decrease in trades per day from the previous month's average.

June 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended June 30, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 84,000. This is 10% lower than May 2004, and is 29% lower than June 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$181.5 billion as of June 30, 2004, 2% higher than May 2004 and a 24% increase from June 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 24,000. This is 3% higher than May 2004 and is 8% lower than June 2003.
  • Margin loans were US$4.64 billion at June 30, 2004, up 2% from a month earlier and a 34% increase from June 30, 2003.
  • For the first several days of July, the firm experienced a 0.1% increase in trades per day from the previous month's average.

May 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended May 31, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 93,000. This is 25.9% lower than April 2004, and is 11% lower than May 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$177.3 billion as of May 31, 2004, 1% higher than April 2004 and a 25% increase from May 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 24,000. This is 40% lower than April 2004 and is 7% higher than May 2003.
  • Margin loans were US$4.54 billion at May 31, 2004, down 9% from a month earlier and a 41% increase from May 31, 2003.
  • For the first several days of June, the firm experienced a 8.3% decrease in trades per day from the previous month's average.

April 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended April 30, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 125,716. This is 3.5% higher than March 2004, and is 48% higher than April 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$175.0 billion as of April 30, 2004, 3% lower than March 2004 and a 30% increase from April 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 39,523. This is 1% higher than March 2004 and is 22% higher than April 2003.
  • Margin loans were US$4.975 billion at April 30, 2004, up 1% from a month earlier and a 54% increase from April 30, 2003.
  • For the first several days of May, the firm experienced a 19% decrease in trades per day from the previous month's average.

March 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended March 31, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 121,514. This is 8.2% lower than February 2004, and is 56% higher than March 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$181.2 billion as of March 31, 2004, 0.2% lower than February 2004 and a 43% increase from March 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 39,049. This is 3% lower than February 2004 and is 40% higher than March 2003.
  • Margin loans were US$4.94 billion at March 31, 2004, down 3% from a month earlier and a 69% increase from March 31, 2003.
  • As of April 9, 2004, the firm experienced a 2.5% increase in trades per day from the previous month's average.

February 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended February 29, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 132,305. This is 19.3% lower than January 2004, and is 85% higher than February 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$181.5 billion as of February 29, 2004, 2% higher than January 2004 and a 45% increase from February 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 40,376. This is 5% higher than January 2004 and is 48% higher than February 2003.
  • Margin loans were US$5.068 billion at February 29, 2004, up 4% from a month earlier and a 70% increase from February 28, 2003.
  • As of March 10, 2004, the firm experienced a 0.2% increase in trades per day from the previous month's average.

January 2004

TD Waterhouse reports the following monthly activity for the period ended January 31, 2004:

  • Total trades per day averaged 163,972. This is 36% higher than December 2003, and is 77% higher than January 2003.
  • Total customer assets were US$178.6 billion as of January 31, 2004, 4% higher than December 2003 and a 43% increase from January 2003.
  • New accounts opened totaled 38,445. This is 23% higher than December 2003 and is 29% higher than January 2003.
  • Margin loans were US$4.86 billion at January 31, 2004, up 6% from a month earlier and a 58% increase from January 31, 2003.
  • As of February 6, 2004, the firm experienced a 16% decrease in trades per day from the previous month's average.
