Overview

David Sykes is Chief Executive Officer of TD Asset Management Inc. and TD Asset Management (US), Inc. and an Executive Vice President of TD Bank Group. He is responsible for all aspects of the business, including investment management, operations, risk management, and distribution. Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer, David served as Chief Investment Officer. Earlier in his career, he was a lead Portfolio Manager responsible for Canadian and U.S. equity strategies for clients, and lead Portfolio Manager for portfolios of up to $25 billion in assets under management. He later served as Head of Public Equities. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary’s University, a Master of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford, and a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Justin is Chief Investment Officer of TD Asset Management and a Senior Vice President of TD Bank Group. He oversees teams that manage equities, fixed income, asset allocation, derivatives, alternatives, balanced solutions, and client portfolio management teams. Justin is also responsible for the firm's trading operations. He was formerly the Head of Public Equities at the firm. Prior to assuming Head of Public Equities responsibilities, Justin led the Global Equity Research effort at the firm and previously had lead manager responsibilities on a number of equity mandates. Additionally, he assumed lead coverage for Global Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Industrials and Canadian Banks as an Analyst at the firm. Justin has a B.Comm. from McGill University and an MBA from the University of London and is a member of the TD Wealth Asset Allocation Committee. Justin serves on the board of the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Bruce is Vice Chair of TD Wealth, responsible for providing guidance and support to the CEO of TD Asset Management and the Group Head of Wealth and Insurance. Prior to becoming Vice-Chair, he was Chief Executive Officer of TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) and TD Epoch, as well as Executive Vice President of TD Bank Group. In this role, he was responsible for all business matters including Investment Management, Operations, Risk Management and Distribution. He was with TDAM for over 30 years and has worked in both Toronto and the UK, managing Canadian, U.S. and Global Equities across a variety of mandates. He is a member of the board of the Nature Conservancy of Canada and a member of the Endowment Board of West Neighborhood House. Bruce holds a B.Comm from Queen’s University and an M.A. in Political Science from McGill University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

As the Head of Business Governance & Portfolio Oversight, Julie leads a team of risk professionals who provide oversight, strategic direction, and guidance on key risk-related areas within the firm, including regulatory, policy governance, operational risk management, and investment risk. Her group develops and implements risk management policies, reporting and operating frameworks with alignment to the firm's risk management framework and risk appetite. Julie was formerly Vice President at TD Harbour Capital, where she handled trading, client service and operations for high-net-worth clients. She has prior experience with several leading firms in the Canadian brokerage industry. Julie holds a B.A. in Economics from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee, the Executive Lead for key talent development programs, including the Rotational Analyst/Associate program, the Early Talent program, and the Talent Capability Leader for Wealth IDLC.

Sean oversees the Global Institutional Distribution and Business Development teams. He supports the strengthening of the firm’s global distribution capabilities and the development of relationships with institutional investors as the firm expands its offerings and capabilities globally. He is also responsible for business leadership, strategic planning and talent management. Sean’s experience covers a broad career dealing with institutional investors, joining the firm with the acquisition of Greystone Managed Investments Inc. where he led the Institutional Distribution Team. He has a B. Comm. in Finance from Ryerson University.

Jeff is the Head of Global Operations, Strategy & Enablement. In this role, he is responsible for oversight and leadership of the Asset Management Global Operations and Strategy, enabling the firm to deliver best-in-class client and colleague experience. His team is responsible for leading and building best-in-class global operations and processes with a view to continuous improvement, operational excellence, end-to-end process optimization, automation and economies of skill and scale. Jeff oversees the Asset Management Journey responsible for the end-to-end client lifecycle. He works with platforms and technology to build and deliver on the infrastructure roadmap for the firm and delivers on the firm's objectives and key results. Jeff is responsible for building the business and operational strategy to provide best-in-class client experiences by leveraging industry best practices, emerging technologies and process improvement. He leads the development of new retail and institutional products and innovations to meet client needs. Previously, Jeff was President & Chief Operating Officer for Greystone Managed Investments, where he was responsible for the firm's day-to-day operations, including the strategic oversight of distribution, marketing, technology, compliance, investment operations and HR. Jeff holds a B.Admin from the University of Regina and is a member of the firm's Operating Committee.

Toni is Head of Global Regulatory & Policy Governance and is responsible for monitoring and advising on regulatory and operational risks affecting the global operations of the firm. In her previous role at a major Canadian insurance company, she supervised compliance and regulatory matters for operations in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Hong Kong. Her experience extends to roles at investment management companies, brokerage firms and a large public accounting firm, where she audited mutual funds. Toni holds a B.Comm. from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee, and Chair of the firm’s Policy Oversight Committee and Trade Management Oversight Committee.
