Benjamin Lemire,

As a member of the ESG Research and Engagement Team, Ben leads ESG and sustainability for the firm's Alternative Investment strategies (Global Real Estate, Commercial Mortgages, and Global Infrastructure). He takes a leading role in ESG integration, sustainability reporting, and engagement across each of the firm's Alternative Investment portfolios. Prior to joining the firm, he was Director of Corporate Sustainability at a major Canadian real estate asset manager where he was responsible for all facets of ESG integration across the investment lifecycle. Prior to working in asset management, Ben spent over six years in sustainability (climate change) consulting and worked as a Senior Financial Analyst in sustainability reporting. He holds a B.Sc. with Honours from Queen's University, an M.St. in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, and several professional designations in responsible investment and sustainability reporting.
