Investor Knowledge + 5 Minutes = Current Insights
We’re proud to announce that TD Q Canadian Dividend ETF (TQCD) has officially surpassed $1 billion in assets under management (AUM)¹. While this milestone is certainly a numerical achievement, it represents something much larger: the growing confidence investors have placed in our approach, and the recognition that our quantitative strategies offer a disciplined, differentiated path to long-term equity investing. This momentum is further validated by TQCD being recognized at the 2025 Canada LSEG Lipper Fund Awards as the Best “Canadian Dividend & Income Equity” ETF over both 3 and 5 years.
Our Approach: Turning Data Into Discipline
TQCD’s investment philosophy is built on three pillars:
- Data-Driven Insights – We systematically evaluate hundreds of securities uncovering patterns that may be invisible to traditional analysis. This process helps select companies which are increasingly profitable, are directing some of those profits to increasing their dividends and have strong cash flow generation to pay their dividends.
- Risk Controls – TQCD has maximum security weights, sector constraints, yield constraints, and risk constraints to help ensure that the ETF is properly diversified and is managing the risks it takes
- Higher Quality/Higher Allocation – While many dividend & income ETFs weight securities by market capitalization or yield, the securities in TQCD are weighted by quality, with high quality companies having a larger weight in the ETF
The result is a portfolio designed not just to seek stronger returns, but also to help manage risks more effectively than many of the competing Canadian dividend and income equity ETFs.
Why Investors Choose TQCD
As investors increasingly look for proven and accessible strategies, two factors set TQCD apart:
Proven Performance² – Our track record demonstrates the adaptability and resilience of a systematic approach that thrives across varied market conditions.
Risk Management– Quantitative models allow us to identify attractive opportunities while maintaining diversification and a strong focus on controlling risk.
This combination of sophistication, transparency, and accessibility is why more investors are turning to TQCD to complement or even anchor their equity allocations.
Performance in Focus
Performance remains the truest validation of any investment strategy. While past performance is not a guarantee of future results, TQCD has consistently delivered outcomes that compare favourably to traditional equity benchmarks. Surpassing the $1 billion mark in AUM underscores not only our growth, but also the results our investors have come to expect from our disciplined process.
Looking Ahead
Crossing this milestone is just the beginning. Our mission remains clear: to deliver a transparent, data-driven investment experience that empowers investors to build wealth with confidence. As markets evolve, the importance of quality, discipline, and risk-aware decision making will only grow. With TQCD, investors have access to a strategy built to meet that challenge—combining TDAM's quantitative experience with the efficiency of an ETF.
We’re excited to continue demonstrating the power of quantitative investing and look forward to the next chapter of TQCD’s journey.

Commissions, management fees and expenses all may be associated with mutual fund and/or exchange- traded fund ("ETF") investments (collectively, "the Funds"). Trailing commissions may be associated with mutual fund investments. ETF units are bought and sold at market price on a stock exchange and brokerage commissions will reduce returns. Please read the fund facts or summary documents and the prospectus, which contain detailed investment information, before investing in the Funds. The indicated rates of return (other than for money market funds) are the historical total returns for the period, compounded for mutual funds, including changes in unit value and reinvestment of distributions. The indicated rate of return for each money market fund is an annualized historical yield based on the seven- day period ended as indicated and annualized in the case of effective yield by compounding the seven day return and does not represent an actual one year return. Index returns do not represent ETF returns. The indicated rates of return do not take into account sales, redemption, commission charges, distribution or optional charges, as applicable, or income taxes payable by any securityholder that would have reduced returns. The Funds are not covered by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation or by any other government deposit insurer and are not guaranteed or insured. Their values change frequently. There can be no assurances that a money market fund will be able to maintain its net asset value per unit at a constant amount or that the full amount of your investment will be returned to you. Past performance may not be repeated.
