Fund Objectives
TD Global Carbon Credit Index ETF seeks to track the performance of a global carbon credit index which measures the investment return of global cap-and-trade carbon emission credits. Currently, the TD ETF seeks to track the Solactive Global Carbon Credit CAD Hedged Index (or any successor thereto).
Investment Approach
The TD Global Carbon Credit Index ETF (""The TD ETF"") will invest directly in carbon emission allowance futures and/or use swap agreements, or some combination thereof, to obtain economic exposure to Carbon Credits. The TD ETF will initially obtain exposure to carbon credits that trade on the European Union Emission Trading System (EU ETS) and in the future, may provide exposure based on carbon credits that trade on other global ETS's as they develop and offer sufficient liquidity to be included in the Index. The TD ETF may also hold cash and cash equivalents or other money market instruments in order to meet its obligations.
