Enroll in our Customer Assistance Program if impacted by the partial government shutdown
We're offering assistance to help make things a little easier for those impacted.
Who is eligible? TD Bank Customers who are federal employees, contractors or receive federal benefits can enroll in the TD Cares Customer Assistance Program to help meet day-to-day financial needs during the partial government shutdown.
The program benefits will extend until those impacted begin receiving their regular government pay.
Access to additional funds at no cost
Customers who have a TD personal or business checking account in good standing and meet other eligibility requirements can access up to $1,000 in additional funds not currently available in their account, with no overdraft fees or costs (subject to repayment by the end of the program).
Late fee refunds on most TD Bank Visa® credit cards
Assistance is available for impacted federal employees or contractors who receive late charges on a TD Bank Visa credit card. Some restrictions apply.
There are opportunities for short-term relief for federal employees or contractors struggling to make a mortgage, home equity, auto or personal loan payment to TD Bank due to financial hardship caused by the partial government shutdown.
Small business loan assistance
Small Business Customers who experience a hardship resulting from the partial government shutdown may be eligible to negotiate payment options and fee flexibility on their loan or line of credit.
All Customers enrolled in the program must return their account to a positive balance by the end of the program. Accounts enrolled in the Customer Assistance Program will be subject to all applicable fees once the program concludes. Review the Personal Fee Schedule.
