How TD Choice CD Renewal Works

As your TD Choice CD approaches the end of its term, you may be wondering what happens when it matures. We're here to help you plan your next step.

What happens when my CD matures?

  1. We'll let you know when it's time to renew
You'll start to receive renewal notifications up to 2 months prior to your CD's maturity date. Log in to Online Banking or the TD Bank app to see your rate and term under your CD account details

  2. You'll have 10 days to make changes
Starting on the date of maturity, there is a 10-calendar-day grace period where you can make changes, including renewing your CD, without being assessed a fee.Explore our promotional CD rates and terms

  3. At maturity, your CD will auto-renew2
Your TD Choice CD will automatically renew to the same length term at the non-promotional interest rate in effect on your maturity date if you don't take action during the grace period
