1After both the referring and referred customers have completed the requirements outlined within, the bonus will be credited into the new personal checking account of the referred customer, as well as into the referring customer’s existing personal checking account no later than 95 days from the new account opening date. To receive the bonus, the accounts must not be closed or restricted at the time of payout. If the checking account is closed by you or TD Bank within 6 months after account opening, and the bonus has been paid, TD Bank reserves the right to deduct the bonus amount at closing. By participating in this program, both the referring customer and newly referred customer may be aware that the other is a TD Bank customer.

You are not eligible for a Share the Green Bonus if you use your own unique referral code to open an account. Referral bonuses paid out to an account on which you are a joint account holder will count towards the maximum number of Share the Green bonuses you can receive in a calendar year and may render you ineligible for additional Share the Green referral bonuses. TD Bank Employees and Canadian Cross Border Banking customers are not eligible.

The primary owners of the new personal checking account and the referring customer's personal checking account may be required to complete a valid IRS Form W-9 or substitute IRS Form W-9 to provide certain identifying information. You may be subject to backup withholding at the rate specified in the U.S. Internal Revenue Code if you fail to provide that information or meet certain other conditions. TD Bank may issue the primary owners of the new personal checking account and the referring customer's personal checking account an IRS Form 1099 or other appropriate forms reporting the value of the bonus. Offer may be withdrawn at any time and is subject to change.

Additional Requirements for Referring Customer:

The referring customer must have an existing TD Bank personal checking account and will be provided with a unique Share the Green offer code that they may choose to share with friends. Referring customer can receive a $50 bonus for each friend they refer that opens an account using their unique Share the Green code, and who qualifies as outlined within. Referring customers may receive up to ten (10) Share the Green Bonuses ($500 total value) within a calendar year.

Additional Requirements for Referred Customer:
Newly referred customers do not include customers that have an existing TD Bank personal checking account OR had a previous personal checking account that was closed within the preceding 12 months OR have received a prior personal checking account bonus at any time.

To qualify for the $50 Share the Green Bonus, the newly referred customer must provide their friend's unique Share the Green offer code upon account opening. The newly referred customer must: 1) open a TD Bank personal checking account at a TD Bank Store; and 2) receive a qualifying direct deposit of at least $250 into the new checking account within 60 days of account opening OR complete a minimum of fifteen (15) qualifying TD Bank Visa® Debit Card purchases within 60 days of account opening. Qualifying direct deposits are limited to electronic direct deposits of your payroll, pension, or government benefit payments (such as Social Security) of at least $250 each. Person-to-Person and bank transfers between your TD Bank and any other accounts you have at other financial institutions or brokerages are not considered a direct deposit. Qualifying Visa® Debit Card purchases are those made using a TD Visa® Debit Card to buy goods and services. Withdrawals made at the ATM do not qualify. Returns and other adjustments may affect qualifying purchases. Qualifying purchases are determined in the sole discretion of TD Bank and must post to the new account within 60 calendar days of account opening.
