Add User
Description
The Add User function allows you to set-up a user profile and assign rights to the services for which your company is registered and for the administrative functions within the Web Business Banking Service.
Accessing Add User
To access the Add User function, simply click Add/Modify/Delete User from the Administration sub-menu and then click the Add User button.
You must have the right 'Add/Modify/Delete User' to perform this task.
How To Add a New User
Adding a User is a three step process:
- Click the Add User button. The Add user page is displayed.
- Complete the First and Last Name fields and in the User ID field, type a User ID (5-8 characters) for the new user.
- Click on the dropdown arrow beside the Connect ID field and select a Connect ID from the list available.
- Enter the user's title, department, e-mail, address, and telephone number.
- Click on the dropdown arrow beside the 'Copy Access Rights from' if there is an existing user profile that you would like to copy. If not, skip to step 5.
- Select the type of access you would like to assign to each service listed.
- Click Save & Continue. Note: If the Approval Required for Administration Changes preferences is selected, then the Save & Continue button will be renamed Next.
- If you have selected 'Custom' for any service or 'Full' for a payment service, a separate page will be displayed for each of these services. Select the accounts and/or rights for the services presented and click Save & Continue or Next.
- Review the user information and service details to ensure you have completed the setup correctly. If changes are required click Back otherwise click Done.
Security/Filtering
- IMPORTANT: If your company has elected to set the security preference 'Approval Required for Administrative Changes' a new user is not added to your company profile until the Add User function is approved in the Approve Admin Changes page.
