The Visa Debit feature of your TD Access Card allows you to shop securely online on thousands of Canadian and international websites, using money directly from your TD Canada Trust bank account.

Visa Debit is accepted in over 200 countries outside of Canada and gives you the ability to use your TD Access Card to withdraw cash at more than 2.2 million ATMs while you travel, wherever Visa is accepted1.

Your TD Access Card is equipped with Interac Flash® so you can tap to pay at participating retailers. Simply hold it up to the terminal, no need to swipe or insert your TD Access Card. See Interac Flash® spend limits

TD Access Card Service Fees
- Foreign Exchange Fee
3.5% of the Canadian dollar amount after conversion of the foreign currency amount at the rate set by Visa International.
- Foreign Exchange Fee
0.035 is added to the exchange rate set by Interac®.
- Transaction Fee
$3 in the United States or Mexico.
$5 in any country outside of Canada, the United States or Mexico.
No service fees at TD Bank, AMCB ATMs.
No service fees if you have a TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan or TD Wealth Private Banking Account. - Foreign Exchange Fee
The transaction amount, including any ATM provider fees incurred by the client, will be converted to Canadian dollars based on the exchange rate set by Visa International* in effect on the date the transaction is posted to your account and will include a fee equal to 3.5% of the converted amount.
Security Features
- Change your PIN at any time
You can change your PIN at your TD branch. After verifying your identity, the branch will help you select a new PIN. If you forget your PIN, you must visit a branch to receive a new one. You can also change your PIN at any TD ATM location. - Always protect your PIN
Remember never to tell anyone your PIN and never keep a record of your PIN near your TD Access Card. It is best practice to avoid choosing a PIN that might be easily guessed (such as your birthday, phone number or address). When entering your PIN, take precautions to keep it from the view of others.
- Visa Secure*: Visa Secure is a free joint effort between the Visa issuing banks, Visa Canada and participating retailers to provide you with increased security and convenience when you shop online. Visa offers comprehensive fraud protection, but Visa Secure goes even a step further, adding an extra layer of security when you enter your TD Access card information online. You are automatically protected – and no additional sign-up or password is required. This program is offered to Visa cardholders at no additional cost and exists to help protect you against fraudulent transactions. All you need to do is shop as you always do online; Visa Secure operates invisibly in the background.
- Visa Zero Liability*: Visa Zero Liability applies to all online and international transactions. Should your TD Access Card become compromised, you will not be held liable as long as you have met your obligations as outlined in the Cardholder and Electronic Financial Services Terms and Conditions. You are automatically protected – and no additional sign-up is required.
- Interac® Zero Liability: Interac® Zero Liability applies to transactions completed using Interac Flash®. Should your TD Access Card become compromised, you will not be held liable for unauthorized Interac Flash® transactions as long as you have met your obligations as outlined in the Cardholder and Electronic Financial Services Terms and Conditions.
- Interac Flash® spend limits: For your protection, a PIN is required for single purchases above $250 or $250 in multiple consecutive Interac Flash® purchases4.

How to pay your Canadian bills online

- Select the company you want to pay, then click Pay selected payees. To add a company, click Add payee.
- Enter your payment details such as payment amount, payment frequency, and the payment date, then click Next.
- Verify your payment details are correct, then click Finish.
- Receive your confirmation. If you have another bill to pay, click Pay another bill.

Use EasyWeb View Bills for Canadian bill statements
Receive, view, pay and store select bills and statements in one convenient online location for free using epostTM from Canada Post. Simply log into EasyWeb Online banking and register by clicking View epost Bills from the left navigation menu under ‘Payments’ or ‘Quick Links’ to start today.

Use Interac e-Transfer to send, request and receive money anytime, anywhere in Canada.
- Fast: Recipients are typically notified by email or text message within one minute6 that you've sent or requested money using Interac e-Transfer, and they can deposit the money to their account at a Canadian financial institution7.
- Convenient: Send or request money anytime through EasyWeb or with the TD app8, to anyone with an email address or mobile number and a bank account at a participating Canadian financial institution7, 9.
- Secure: When you send money, the funds are sent from your TD account to the recipient, and your account information stays protected. If the recipient is not set up for Autodeposit you will need to create a security question that only you and the recipient know the answer to.
- Intelligent: TD customers can receive and view additional remittance details (e.g. Invoice details, Purchase Order details), if included in the Interac e-Transfer® transaction, to drive more "intelligent" commerce.
Request Money – A convenient way to request money
Interac e-Transfer Request Money helps make it easy for people to pay you. Recipients are notified of your request through email or text message, and they can pay you through their own participating Canadian financial institution7 using Interac e-Transfer. If the recipient accepts your request, you're notified once the money is deposited directly into the TD bank account you choose9.
Use Request Money as a reminder for a friend to pay you back, or include an invoice number as a convenient way for customers to pay you!
Interac e-Transfer® - Receive Money - Direct to Account

Get paid in real time
Interac e-Transfer is a fast and secure way to receive money directly to your bank account, in real time, when you provide the sender with your bank account information.
Ideal for customers who:
- want payments deposited directly to their bank account in real time
- want to eliminate the need to answer a security question
- don't want to manage their email inbox or text messages to receive payments
Senders may have the choice to include additional remittance details with the payment (e.g. invoice and purchase order information), to help make reconciliation easier.
Please never give out your personal banking information to sources you don't know or trust.
Interac e-Transfer® Fees
There is no transfer fee to use either Send Money or Request Money with the following accounts:
Personal Accounts:
- TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan
- TD Unlimited Chequing Account
- TD Every Day Chequing Account 9
- TD Student Chequing Account 9
Business Accounts:
The Send Money transfer fee, if applicable, is charged to the account from which the money is sent at the time it is sent.9
The Request Money transfer fee, if applicable, is charged to the account into which the money is deposited at the time of deposit, if the recipient accepts the request9. There is no transfer fee to accept a request9.

Ready to use Apple PayTM?
Simply hold your iPhone up to the contactless terminal with your finger on the Touch ID and wait for the beep and vibration to confirm that your payment has gone through. If your iPhone has Face ID just double-click the side button and glance at your iPhone to authenticate with Face ID.
Hold your device up to the terminal until it beeps and vibrates. Wait until you see the words "Done" and a checkmark display to confirm your payment.
If you have an Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold it up to the contactless reader until a beep confirms your payment. It’s that simple!

- Open the Wallet app
- Tap the + sign or select Add Credit or Debit Card
- Follow the onscreen instructions to add your eligible TD Card(s)
Apple Watch3:
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone
- Select Wallet & Apple Pay and then Add Credit or Debit Card
- Follow the onscreen instructions to add your eligible TD Card(s)

How to set up Samsung Pay
Setting up Samsung Pay on your Galaxy device and adding your eligible TD Card(s) is simple and straightforward.
Samsung Galaxy phone3
- Open the Samsung Pay app on your Galaxy device and register or sign in to your Samsung account.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to add your eligible TD Card(s).
Samsung Galaxy Watch3
- On your Galaxy Watch, go to Samsung Pay and follow the instructions to set up your Samsung Pay PIN.
- Follow the instructions on your Samsung Galaxy phone to add your eligible TD Card(s) to your Samsung Galaxy Watch. (TD Access Cards cannot be added to Galaxy Watches).
How to make purchases with Samsung Pay
Step 1: Simply open Samsung Pay or swipe up at the bottom of your Galaxy device and select the TD card you want to pay with. Verify with your fingerprint, face recognition or PIN.
Step 2: Tap or hold your phone over the merchant’s card reader for a few seconds and your payment will be confirmed on the terminal.
Step 3: If you have Samsung Pay on your Galaxy Watch, just hold down the back button to open Samsung Pay and scan your watch on the merchant’s card reader.
Where can I use Samsung Pay for contactless payments?

Keep in mind that some merchants with these symbols on their card readers may still not be set up to accept contactless payments yet, including Samsung Pay.

Any EasyWeb customer with a supported Android 4.4+ smartphone, eligible TD Credit Card and the TD app can enjoy using TD Mobile Payment. The Android 4.4+ smartphone must be enabled with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology (contactless) and have access to a cellular data network or a Wi-Fi connection occasionally.

How to send your money
- Log into EasyWeb
- Once you’re logged in, click on Transfers then click on TD Bank (US) to TD (Canada) Transfer
- Choose your account and amount
- Pick your TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank® Visa® Debit Card, destination account, and amount you want to send.
- Review and submit
- When you’re ready, submit your transfer. The Transfer Activity screen will provide you with the status of your transfer.
