Activate Device

Description

This page allows you to activate your Authentication Device, provided one has been assigned to you and it has not yet been activated.

Note: You must have first set your Authentication Device's PIN.

How do I activate my Authentication Device?

  1. Turn over your Authentication Device and locate the serial number.

    This number is on a sticker on the underside of the device itself.

  2. In the Serial Number field on your PC, enter the device's serial number.

  3. Press the ON button on the device.

  4. Press the red button on the device.

  5. Key your PIN into the device.

  6. Press the = button (Equals) on the device.

  7. Enter into your device the 7-digit number that appears in the Challenge field on your PC.

    If you make a mistake while entering in this number, press the CE button (Clear Entry) on the device then re-key the Challenge number.

  8. Press the = button (Equals) on the device.

  9. A number appears on your device. This is the Response number. Enter this number in the Response field on your PC.

  10. Click the OK button on your PC.

  11. You will be returned to View User Profile screen. Check the Authentication Device to ensure that the status indicates ‘Activated’.

  12. Turn off your Authentication Device.
