How to pay a Canadian bill on the TD app
Open the TD app, and from the main menu, select Bills.
If you haven't logged in to the TD app yet, you'll be prompted to log in now.
In the Bills menu option, select Pay bills.
Within the Bills menu, you can:
- Pay a Canadian bill
- Manage your payees
- Manage your scheduled payments
In the Payee dropdown list, select the Canadian bill you want to pay.
In the Amount field, enter how much you want to pay.
In the Account dropdown list, select the account you want to pay the bill from.
In the How Often dropdown list, select Once and you'll see the payment date automatically default to today's date.
If you want to schedule the payment for a date in the future, select Start Date and choose a different date.
If you want to pay this bill on a regular schedule, you can select different payment frequencies in the How Often dropdown list, once you select Ongoing:
On the bottom of the screen, select the Continue button.
Before you pay the bill, make sure the information you've entered is correct.
If you need to change anything, select the < (back) button.
If you want to cancel the bill payment, select the Cancel button.
If everything looks good, select the Pay Bill button.
After you make the payment, you'll be given a confirmation number for your records. From here, you can also:
- Go to the TD app home screen
- Pay another bill
- View your upcoming bills
