How we're supporting Canadian healthcare professionals

We proudly support the hard work and dedication of our healthcare professionals as they stand on the frontlines during the fight against COVID-19. We extend our heartfelt appreciation for their unwavering service during this pandemic.

To show our support, we are doing our part too. We have continued to evolve our response to this public health emergency, taking steps to help stop the spread of the coronavirus, while continuing to be there for our customers every step of the way. To encourage customers to stay home, we are helping them bank online or through our mobile app. And, we've made a number of changes to our branches to prioritize the health and safety of our colleagues and customers and maximize physical distancing.

If you’re a healthcare professional, here’s how we are serving you while you’re so courageously out serving your community:

  • Priority access for healthcare professionals is available when you call EasyLine at 1-888-720-00751-888-720-0075. This front of the line service launched in mid-April. It is automatic when you call-in (based on information already shared with us) and no action is required on your part.
  • If you have an urgent matter that requires in-person assistance, please book an appointment online, and we would be pleased to serve you.
  • In the event you are self-isolating, or if you prefer not to come into a branch, we are committed to helping our healthcare workers with personalized support and assistance. Please call a local open branch to discuss options that are available to support you.
  • To help raise awareness of these options, we are also reaching out to customers who have recently visited us in a branch.

Community support during COVID-19

Our commitment of support extends to the communities where we all live and work. We are a lead donor for The Frontline Fund which provides supplies, supports and research funding to our healthcare workers and hospitals. We are also matching the generosity of our colleagues when they make a donation to The Frontline Fund. This contribution is part of the TD Community Resilience Initiative, committing $25 million in strategic philanthropy to organizations engaged in COVID-19 response and community recovery across our North American footprint.

These are unique times, and they require a unique response. Healthcare professionals across Canada are stepping up and we are so grateful for all that they do. With these measures and our continued support, we hope to make our customers' banking experience just a little easier and safer for everyone.
