PLEASE VOTE YOUR TD SHARES – YOUR VOTE IS IMPORTANT!
We recently mailed The Toronto-Dominion Bank's (the "Bank") annual report and management proxy circular, together with voting forms, to our common shareholders.
Please take the time to read the management proxy circular and vote your shares, regardless of whether or not you attend the Bank's annual meeting in person. The circular describes the business to be conducted at the meeting and provides you, our shareholders, with information on the Bank's approach to executive compensation and to corporate governance – background information that will help you exercise your right to vote.
Bank Act (Canada) Restrictions on Common Share Ownership and Voting
The Bank's shares cannot be voted if they are beneficially held in contravention of the Bank Act (Canada). Restrictions on ownership and voting are described in the management proxy circular available at the link below.
