Vlad Shpilsky
Group Head, Global Technology & Solutions,
TD Bank Group

Vlad Shpilsky is Group Head, Global Technology & Solutions and a member of the Bank’s Senior Executive Team.

In this role, Vlad leads the Bank's Technology Strategy and works with leaders across TD to strengthen the technology, digital and data capabilities that support colleagues, enhance the client experience and drive growth. His mandate also includes enabling the Bank's use of artificial intelligence, extending its digital leadership, and strengthening data management, cybersecurity, fraud operations, and platform resilience.

Vlad has more than 20 years of leadership experience at global financial services organizations, spanning technology operations, strategy, and software engineering. His experience also includes digital banking, payments, treasury, wholesale credit, electronic trading, and data and risk transformation.

Vlad joined TD in October 2024 as the Chief Information Officer for the Bank's U.S. operations. Before joining TD, he spent 13 years at Bank of America, most recently as Global Banking CIO, where he led technology delivery and strategy across Global Corporate and Investment Banking, Commercial and Business Banking, Global Payments, and Enterprise Credit.

Earlier in his career, Vlad spent 10 years at Credit Suisse in equity derivates and electronic trading. 

Vlad is a certified leadership coach and is committed to leveraging his expertise to help others develop and succeed. He holds a graduate degree in Computer Science from SUNY Stony Brook and resides in New Jersey with his family.
