Supporting Black Customers, Colleagues, and Communities
We're a purpose-driven Bank that's committed to helping enrich the lives of Black Customers, Colleagues and Communities. Our commitment to combating systemic Anti-Black racism is part of our resolve towards helping build a more inclusive and equitable tomorrow.
Our Commitment in Action
As part of our continuous effort to strengthen and support of racially diverse communities, TD commits to:
- Contribute $17.5 million towards anti-racism initiatives including $12.1 million in support of Black-led and Black-focused organizations throughout 2020.
- Double the representation of Black executives at TD by the end of 2022 and increase minority executive representation across the Bank by 50% by 2025. This will include a specific focus on Black and Indigenous talent.
- Support the Black Opportunity Fund by committing $10 million for the next 5 years, while working with Black businesses, philanthropists and foundations to help address Anti-Black racism.
- Introduced the TD Black Customer Experience Team, a newly formed team, dedicated to helping serve the unique banking needs of Black Customers.
