How we are supporting the growth of cricket

At TD, we understand the importance of being part of a team, so we are committed to growing the game of cricket for fans and players by sponsoring Cricket Canada, through regional youth clinics, and by supporting local grassroots organizations.

  • Team Canada

TD is the Official Bank of Cricket Canada, supporting the Men's - Women's and U19 Canadian National Cricket Teams and helping grow the sport across the country through community programs and grassroots development.

  • TD Young Wickets

TD Young Wickets is a new TD program that helps kids in Canada learn and play cricket. We give free equipment and create safe, welcoming programs so more kids can start playing—and keep playing.

  • Local organizations

Together with select organizations, we aim to bring more cricket to communities across Canada and help grow the game from the ground up.

TD Young Wickets

We’re growing cricket in Canada by introducing more kids to the sport in a fun and inclusive way, through a new TD Initiative called TD Young Wickets.

  • Youth Clinic - BC

TD Young Wickets is coming to Surrey, BC for a one-day cricket clinic that will help kids learn the game of cricket through fun activities, simple drills, and easy gameplay led by certified coaches.

  • Youth Clinic - AB

Along with players from Team Canada and international professionals, TD Young Wickets is hosting a one-day cricket clinic in Edmonton. Sign your kids up to play drills and learn cricket fundamentals.

  • TD Quick Kits

All clinic participants will receive a TD Quick Kit that includes everything they need to continue to play the game including a bat, wicket, ball, carrying bag and quick start guide.

Official Bank of Cricket Canada

Cricket Canada is the official governing body for the sport of cricket in Canada. It is a not-for-profit organization recognized by the International Cricket Council, the Government of Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee.

Team Canada hosts the home leg of the ongoing Cricket World Cup League 2 cycle in August and September, a crucial chapter in the four-year journey toward the next global 50-over event. The home season wraps up with an international bilateral series in late September, closing out what promises to be a defining year for Cricket Canada.
