Acquisition History 2009
In 2009, TD Bank Group (TD) expanded TD Waterhouse with three acquisitions. The acquisition of thinkorswim Canada, Inc. extended TD Waterhouse Discount Brokerage’s capabilities in options trading. The acquisition of OMX Securities Services UK LLP, allowed TD Waterhouse Investor Services (Europe) Limited to provide settlement and administrative service to a wider range of corporate clients. Finally, the acquisition of online share dealing business of Hoodless Brennan increased its client base by approximately 45,000 customers.
