Acquisition History 2012
On December 6, 2012, TD Bank Group (TD) announced the acquisition of Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. in an all-cash transaction. On October 23, 2012, TD announced an agreement with Target Corporation under which TD would acquire Target's existing U.S. Visa and private label card portfolio. In addition, TD and Target entered into a seven-year program agreement under which TD would become the exclusive issuer of Target-branded Visa and private label consumer credit cards to Target's U.S. customers.
