The Sponsor of the Contest is The Toronto-Dominion Bank, on behalf of TD Easy Trade, 161 Bay St, Toronto, ON M5J 2T2 (“TD"). The contest administrator for this Contest is Helix Global Solutions Inc. 4612 Chemin Bois Franc, Saint Laurent, QC (the "Contest Administrator").
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to all residents of Canada who are at least the legal age of majority in their Province/Territory of residence at the time of entry into the Contest (each an "Eligible Participant"). The following individuals and their household members are not eligible to enter the Contest: Employees, agents, and representatives of each of (i) TD, (ii) its subsidiaries and affiliates, and (iii) any and all other companies associated with the Contest including the Contest Administrator and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, or any person with whom any such person is domiciled.
3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: No purchase necessary. "Entrant" means the Eligible Participant who, during the Contest Period, already has or opens a TD Easy Trade account (note: it is free to open and maintain), completes the contest sign-up form, and who completes any one or more of the following three methods of entry, but no more than one of each method of entry, to obtain a maximum of twenty-one (21) entries (each an "Entry" and collectively the "Entries") per Entrant as described below.#1) Fund $250 in qualifying funds ("Qualifying Funds") to your TD Easy Trade account to receive ten (10) Entries. See "Note on Method of Entry #1" below for more information on this method of entry.
#2) Submit a unique 100-word essay describing your favourite 10 items to trade when you were growing up, and mail it to TD Easy Trade Contest, 4612 Chemin Bois Franc, Saint Laurent, Québec, Canada, H4S 1A7 to receive ten (10) Entries. The essay must include your first name, surname, the email address associated with your TD Easy Trade account, and the email address used to register for the contest. This method of entry must comply with the Content Restrictions defined below in Section 4 CONTENT RESTRICTIONS.
#3) Follow TD Direct Investing on Instagram (@td_directinvesting) and tag a friend in the comments of the Instagram post dated June 1st, 2026 to receive one (1) Entry.
Note on Method of Entry #1: Qualifying Funds deposited into a TD Easy Trade account at any time during the Contest Period are eligible for this Method of Entry, regardless of when the Entrant registers for the Contest.
Qualifying Funds must remain in the TD Easy Trade account until the Contest draw date and time specified in Section 6 below. Qualifying Funds will not be excluded solely because they are associated with, or made in connection with, any other promotional offer, incentive, or campaign, provided such funds otherwise meet the definition of Qualifying Funds and are not expressly excluded under these Contest Rules.
Withdrawals made prior to the draw date that reduce the client's balance of net new funds below the Qualifying Funds value will result in disqualification of entries earned under this Method of Entry.
The following do not constitute Qualifying Funds: Transfers originating from TD Direct Investing, TD Easy Trade, TD Wealth Financial Planning, TD Wealth Financial Planning Direct, TD Wealth Private Investment Advice, TD Wealth Private Banking, and TD Wealth Private Trust accounts. Transfers of mutual funds or Guaranteed Investment Certificates originating from TD Canada Trust accounts. Qualifying Funds are determined based on the combined value of Canadian and U.S. denominated assets deposited into the applicable currency component of a new Account. U.S. dollar balances will be converted into Canadian dollars using TD’s applicable foreign exchange rate on the date the funds or assets are deposited into the TD Easy Trade account. For deposits of securities, Qualifying Funds will be determined based on the market value of such securities in Canadian dollars as of the date of deposit.
Where a client opens multiple new Accounts, Qualifying Funds will be calculated by combining the value of assets transferred into all such new Accounts.
4. CONTENT RESTRICTIONS: Each Entrant represents and warrants that their Entry is an original work that has not been created in whole or in part using any form of artificial intelligence (AI) and does not include any of the following content (the "Content Restrictions"): (a) negative, libelous, defamatory, disparaging, tortious or slanderous materials; (b) material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, age or any other basis protected by law; (c) personal information of individuals, including without limitation names and addresses, without the consent of those individuals; and (d) any other content that is or could reasonably be considered to be inappropriate, unsuitable, or offensive or not relevant to the question. Any Entry that does not comply with the foregoing, as determined in the sole discretion of TD and/or Contest Administrator, will be disqualified and eliminated from the Contest.
5. PRIZES: There are twelve (12) prizes available to be won, each consisting of a CAD $20,000 investment executed by TD Direct Investing through the TD Easy Trade platform to purchase units of a single exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) selected by the winner (each a "Prize" and collectively the "Prizes"). The CAD$20,000 investment will be deposited into the winner's TD Easy Trade cash account and once the winner selects their one (1) ETF, TD Direct Investing will purchase it at the prevailing market price on the purchase date no later than ten (10) business days following receipt of a correctly completed Declaration & Release (D&R) form by the winner. The value of the prize will be fixed at $20,000 CAD on the trade purchase date.
