What you'll need to bring when you apply in-branch

  • Proof of enrolment on school letterhead signed or stamped by the school or a copy of your tuition bill, containing:
    1. Student Name,
    2. Program of study, and
    3. Date of current study year
  • If applicable, your source and amount of annual income (e.g. Recent Paystubs or Employment Letter).
  • If a co-signor is required:
    • Co-signor’s source and amount of annual income (e.g. Recent Paystubs or Employment Letter).
A co-signor is a person who becomes equally responsible for repaying a credit balance with you. Anyone of the age of majority in their province of residence can co-sign with you.

  • Flexible credit limits and rates based on your program of study. Rates as low as TD Prime Rate minus 0.25% (TD Prime Rate is 3.95% as of April 8th, 2019).
  • Interest-only payments while in school. This extends another 24 months after you leave school giving you a flexible repayment option to help you manage your expenses.
  • Manageable repayment. 24 months after you leave school, your line of credit will be converted to a student loan with fixed payments.7
