Set up most employer paycheque direct deposits in the TD app in about a minute

Get your pay deposited directly into your TD chequing account—in just a few simple steps. It’s quick, secure, and can be set up in the TD app in about a minute, for most employers. Learn more

Step 1: Choose an account

From the TD app home screen, find My Accounts button and select Banking.

If your menu looks different than the image in this example, you may need to scroll down.

Select the account into which your funds will be directly deposited.

Step 2: Go to the direct deposit information

On the Account screen, select the Details tab.

Select the Direct Deposit Info option or select More from the Navigation bar. Then, choose Paycheque Direct Deposit from the navigation options.

Step 3: Get started with direct deposit in about a minute

Click on Get started to find your employer. 

Once you select your employer or payroll provider on the list, login to your employer’s payroll platform and follow their instructions on-screen.

That’s it—your payroll direct deposit is set up in about a minute, and your pay will go straight into your TD chequing account.

Can’t find your employer? No problem—you can choose ‘Set up manually’ and follow the steps provided.
