Redeeming your Cash Back Dollars to reduce your Account Balance is easy. You can use any of the following cards:
TD Cash Back Visa Infinite*
TD Cash Back Visa*
TD Business Cash Back Visa*
The minimum redemption value is $1, so you have to use at least one Cash Back Dollar to pay off a purchase, partially or in full.
You cannot redeem on the following:
- Cash Advances (including Balance Transfers, Cash-like Transactions, and TD Visa Cheques)
- Interest charges
- Fees
- Adjustments
- Refunds
- Rebates or other similar Account credits.
The Cash Back dollars required will be conveniently displayed with the Eligible Purchase1.
No, this credit does not count towards your minimum payment if you are not paying off your Account Balance in full. You will still need to pay the full minimum payment by the Payment Due Date.

TD Business Cash Back Visa* cardholders wishing to redeem Cash Back Dollars to pay off Purchases, will need to merge their business profile with their personal banking profile. Call 1-866-222-3456 to merge profiles.
Eligible Purchases1 must be within the past 3 monthly statements. Please note that includes your current statement period.
Your rewards balance will be updated immediately and the credit will be applied to your account within 2 business days.
You can see Cash Back redemptions in your Rewards Transaction history.
Yes, any Cardholder can redeem Cash Back Dollars, whether they’re the Primary Cardholder or an Additional Cardholder.
No, you can’t redeem towards interest or fees related to the TD Credit Card.
If you would like to complete a points redemption towards a statement credit, please use Pay down Balance.

You can only redeem Purchase Transactions that have been posted to your Account.
Please wait 3 to 5 business days for the pending Purchase Transaction to post to your Account. Once that happens, you’ll be able to redeem against it.
You can make partial redemptions on Eligible Purchases1.
But please note the minimum redemption of $1 applies to both partial and full redemptions.
When you make a redemption, it will be based on the posted Canadian dollar value. The credit to your account will also be in Canadian Dollars. Simple!
No. When you redeem on a Purchase Transaction from a previous statement, your redemption credit only applies to the current statement balance. Any previous interest accrued remains unchanged.
In the TD app: go to the rewards tab and select your card at the top. From there, you can access the Rewards Transaction History page.
In EasyWeb: go to the rewards page and click "View Rewards Transactions". From there, you can access the Rewards Transaction History page.

No. You can only redeem once against any Eligible Purchase1, even if it was only a partial redemption.
To view the number of Cash Back Dollars you have available, simply visit the Rewards tab in the TD app or EasyWeb.
While Pay Down Balance is available through the phone or in branch, Pay Off Purchases is only available in EasyWeb or the TD Mobile app.

No. Redemption will decrease your outstanding balance but it won’t change your scheduled payment plan or its duration. Unless the redemption amount covers the grace amount or full remaining balance, your regular payments will continue as originally planned.
