How to use TD Rewards Points to Pay Off Purchases using your TD app or EasyWeb account

You can use your TD Rewards Points to reduce the Account Balance of any of the following cards:

TD First Class Travel® Visa Infinite*
TD Platinum Travel Visa*
TD Rewards Visa*
TD Business Travel Visa*

TD Business Travel Visa* cardholders wishing to redeem TD Rewards Points to pay off purchases, will need to merge their business profile with their personal banking profile. Call 1-866-222-3456 to merge profiles.

You can redeem against any Eligible Purchase¹ within your past 3 monthly statement periods, including your current statement.

You cannot redeem on the following:

• Cash Advances (including Balance Transfers, Cash-like Transactions, and TD Visa Cheques)
• Interest charges
• Fees
• Adjustments
• Refunds
• Rebates or other similar Account credits.

When you select an Eligible Purchase¹ for redemption, the TD Rewards Points required will be displayed.

No, this credit does not count towards your minimum payment if you are not paying off your Account Balance in full. You will still need to pay the full minimum payment by the Payment Due Date.

The minimum redemption value is $1, so the minimum number of TD Rewards Points depends on the Purchase Category:

Travel: $1 = 225 TD Rewards Points*

Everyday Purchases: $1 = 400 TD Rewards Points*

Eligible Purchases¹ may include:

Travel Purchases

• Hotels
• Car rentals
• Cruises
• Travel Agencies and Tour Operators

Travel Purchases are determined by Merchant Category Codes (MCC) used by Visa to classify goods and services.

Everyday Purchases

All other purchases that are not defined above will be considered Everyday Purchases.

The credit will be applied to your Account within 2 business days. Your rewards balance will be updated immediately.

Yes, the Primary Cardholder and any Additional Cardholder can redeem TD Rewards Points.

TD Rewards Points can only be earned on the net purchase amount (i.e. the purchase amount after a credit for redeemed TD Rewards Points has been applied to your account). When you redeem with Pay off Purchase, any credit that is applied to your account will reduce or cancel the TD Rewards Points previously earned for that Purchase. If the credit covers only part of the Purchase, you will earn TD Reward Points on the remaining portion of that Purchase - the net amount after the credit is applied.
