How to update your Security Profile on EasyWeb

Make sure your security contact details are up to date so you can receive one-time security codes, alerts or two-step verifications safely. Note that your security profile may differ from your Personal Contact Information. Any updates made to your security settings will not affect your personal profile settings. Here's how to update your personal profile instead

Changing your security settings on EasyWeb is simple. Once you've logged in, here are your next steps:

Go to Security settings

Select My Profile & Settings from the left menu or from the top of the screen, select it where it shows the name on the account.

Under Password & Security, select Edit to view and/or update your security options.

From the Security Settings screen, you can review all your current settings. To make changes, select the Edit () icon for the section you want to update.

Update your security code phone number(s)

Note: Changes to your security code phone numbers and security email address do not affect your personal contact information. You can have up to five phone numbers for Two-Step verification, and even use a different email address for security alerts

To update your personal profile instead, go to My Profile.

With Two-Step Verification, we confirm your identity using security codes. It's important that you keep your phone number list up to date. Here's how.

Select the Edit icon from the Security Code Phone Number List section under Security Settings.

Choose the corresponding icon to add, edit or delete phone numbers for receiving one-time security codes.

You can have up to five security code phone numbers on your list.

You'll be prompted to verify your current security phone number to confirm that you're the one requesting the updates. Select Verify Number.

Enter the 6-digit security code you received by text or phone call. Type that code into the Enter Security Code field and select Enter at the bottom of the screen.

Once you've reviewed your changes and verified the updated numbers, select Done.

Review and confirm your updates

A message will appear confirming your security updates.

This will have an immediate effect on your TD app login, and any other login tied to this account.

You'll also receive an email confirming the change(s) you made.

We recommend reviewing your security settings frequently to help protect your account.
